The finished website
Responsive, static and fast, with Lighthouse 98 on mobile and 100 on desktop in the reference project. No CMS, no database, no plugins: there is nothing that needs updates and no login to attack.
Drafts to choose from
Design variants before anything is built out. In the reference project there were four complete variants in one afternoon, and the client chose the next day.
Contact form without a form service
Inquiries arrive as emails in your existing inbox, and "Reply" goes straight to the sender. No third-party form service, no database where inquiries are stored.
Handover with documentation
All files, all access credentials and short documentation: where everything lives, how a change goes live and what needs renewing each year.

Discovery call
30 or 60 minutes, from €75: the goal of the site, the audience, the page structure and what you supply. If you book the project afterwards, the call is credited against it.

A fixed price from building blocks
€1,500 covers a new website with up to five pages in one language: drafts, build, contact form and handover. SEO, bot protection, a second language and hosting are added in the calculator below.
More pages, a shop or appointment booking raise the price, as do copy or photos that still have to be created. The figure is fixed after a short discovery call, before you sign, not afterwards.

What you probably want to know
Why not WordPress?
A static site has no database, no login and no plugins. There is nothing that needs updates, and scans for WordPress logins or configuration files come up empty. If you want to maintain a lot of content yourself, a CMS is still the better choice, and I will tell you so in the discovery call.
Can we change content ourselves afterwards?
Not in the browser, the site comes without a CMS. You send changes by email and get a fixed price up front, larger ones run at a day rate.
What does the site cost to run?
Just the domain. Hosting, the HTTPS certificate and the form run on Cloudflare's free plan: static pages without a limit, the form up to 100,000 requests a day. In the reference project that comes to €13.95 a year for three domains. With self-hosting the site runs on your existing server, and nothing is added there either.
How long does a new website take?
In the reference project four drafts were ready after one afternoon, and three days later the site was live on the domain. After that, the pace usually depends on copy and sign-offs. Plan for two to four weeks until launch.
Do I need a cookie banner?
Whether you need one is a legal assessment, which I do not provide. Technically, the site loads no external services, no third-party fonts and no tracking when it opens. Cloudflare's bot protection can add a security cookie, which then belongs in the privacy policy.
Who writes the legal notice and privacy policy?
You do, with a generator or a lawyer's help. Writing legal texts is legal advice, which I do not provide. I supply the technical details, meaning which services, cookies and storage the site uses, and build the texts in.
